Ear Training

We listen. We decode. We feel.

Music is produced by our bodies and decoded in our brain and heart but always filtered through our ears.

This is what makes hearing the “Key Player”!

The musician who can not listen “correctly” can not decode thoughts and feelings in order to communicate them through their playing.

Even worse it is difficult to collaborate with other musicians.

In the Ear Training section, rich and diverse training material supports and develops the acoustic abilities of the student.

A skill very important for the musical act.

The perception spectrum of a well developed ear does not have to be innate.

Getting a well developed ear can be achieved through tuition and practice.

Through targeted practice exercises, but mostly through the interaction with the guitar, the student accomplishes to play what they hear.

This is the way to achieve the most important skill for all musicians, to successfully communicate through music all that they think and feel.

Beginners

The joy of starting out
The joy of the first contact with a guitar
The harmonious and correct positioning of the guitar against the human body.
The correct placement of right and left hands on the instrument
The correct tuning, how to properly hold the pick,
The first touch, the first sound, the first song!

In the Beginners section the founding bond of the
Student with the instrument is grounded and developed.
A bond that guarantees and strengthens
The future development of the student.

With years of experience, teaching the Beginner’s section
Is built in order to assure the quick development
Of the novice student as well as solidifying the
Knowledge of those who have only glimpsed parts of the instrument.
The specialised approach promotes, in a unique way , the
Unbiased, natural and relaxing effortless play and creates
The technical foundation required so that the student
Can achieve whatever playing level desired.

This section is a prerequisite for the student to gain access to any other section of Guitar Lessons.
